Greg was born in 1945 and raised in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. He lived in Edgewater, Colorado, at the time of his passing on May 13, 2019.

Greg's introduction to dowsing was as a youngster when a relative located a buried waterline. This didn’t make much of an impression on young Greg, but the next time was quite the opposite. After a stint in the Coast Guard, Greg moved to Gunnison, Colorado for college. His next exposure to dowsing piqued his curiosity - so much so that he traveled to Truth or Consequences in New Mexico to attend his first dowsing class. Soon after, he attended an American Society of Dowsers (ASD) conference in Danville, Vermont. Greg was hooked!

Greg became a professional dowser in 1981 and made a good living at it. The following year, Greg and seven good friends founded the Mile High Dowsers chapter of ASD. Serving as chapter president for several years, Greg frequently led practical dowsing exercises, and presented many evening programs on a wide variety of topics. In the mid-1980s Greg helped to coordinate multiple Midwest Dowsers Conferences in Denver. He was an ASD Trustee for ten years and is a past president. He was extremely honored to have been named ASD’s "Dowser of the Year."

Although Greg was awarded the honor of Master Dowser in 2018, his colleagues will tell you that Greg had been a Master Dowser and mentor for many, many years. He authored four booklets on dowsing and continued to write and submit dowsing articles for publication. An excellent speaker, Greg was always willing to share his dowsing adventures with his captivated audience. He was a favorite interviewee for radio and TV - locally, nationally, and even internationally.

While Greg loved dowsing for water, he was very successful at dowsing for minerals and petroleum products as well. He is survived by his family of cousins and thousands of good friends. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Greg’s Life was held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the American Legion Post 17 in Edgewater, Colorado. Military Honors were presented by the U. S. Coast Guard at that time.
